Manager of technical services and application development has 17 years of experience in polymer industry
Port Naches, Texas – Lion Elastomer’s Russ Vogelsong has been elected as secretary of the Rubber Division, ACS for 2022.
The role will lead to the highest volunteer position in the organisation, the chair of the Rubber Division, ACS in 2026, said Lion in a 21 Oct statement.
Vogelson joined Lion in 2011 and has 17 years of polymer industry experience.
He’s held positions in polymer compounding, product development, and field technical service.
He is currently the manager of technical services and application development.
Vogelson joined the Rubber Division, ACS, in 2005, and during his time in the organisation, has served on the marketing, education, scholarship, and membership committees. he has been the co-chair of the membership committee since 2015.
He holds a BSc in chemical engineering from the University of Akron.
