Increases of up to 5% to be implemented across all segments
Trelleborg, Sweden – Trelleborg Wheel Systems (TWS) is raising prices on all product segments due to increasing costs.
The company will implement increases of up to 5% effective as of November, said a statement 25 Oct.
“This is the last price rise for the current year, driven by continuous increases along the entire value chain in all markets,” said TWS.
This is the fourth time the company is raising the prices of its tire & rim products.
The company announced a 5% price hike in September, citing “escalating logistics and raw materials costs in all markets.
At the end of May, the Swedish manufacturer announced that it was increasing tire prices globally by up to 8%. Prices for rims were increased by up to 20% at the time.
Prior to that, TWS had implemented a 5% price hike globally in January.
