Brenntag extends silanes distribution deal with Evonik 

Essen, Germany – Chemicals distributor Brenntag has extended its deal with Evonik to for the distribution of the Dynasylan silane product line.

Effective immediately, the German distributor will market the products in 16 countries in Eastern Europe, Brenntag announced 5 Oct. 

The countries include: Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Brenntag was previously distributing the products in the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region and the extension will bring the total of countries to 19.

“We have gained a lot of very good experience [in the DACH region] and always received positive feedback from customers,” said Jerzy Jasinski, regional president Brenntag specialties EMEA.

“That is why Brenntag is very pleased that we expand this success story to additional countries across Europe,” he added.

Evonik's Dynasylan brand products are used in various industries, including rubber, polyurethane, adhesives and paints & coatings.
