Swedish group Indutrade acquires Czech silicone moulder

Silroc supplies components to medical, pharma and industrial sectors
Stockholm – Swedish industrial group Indutrade AB is acquiring Czech silicone moulding specialist Silroc CZ, the group announced 1 Oct.
With annual sales of CZK 85 million (€3.5 million), Silroc has a production facility in the northern Czech town of Tanvald, including a 356 square-metre cleanroom facility and employing 70 people.
It also has a sales office in Penzberg, Germany.
The company is specialised in injection moulding of parts and components from liquid silicone rubber, and serves various sectors, including medtech, pharma, automotive and industrial markets.
Silroc's product portfolio includes hospital equipment such as tube sets, single-use assemblies, as well as customised components for powder coating processes.
The unit will be integrated into Indutrade’s DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) business area.
The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Indutrade’s earnings per share.
Indutrade is an international technology and industrial business group that today consists of more than 200 companies in some 30 countries, mainly in Europe.
Operated in a “decentralised way”, the group’s companies develop, manufacture, and sell components, systems and services with technical content in selected niches.
The group’s net sales totalled SEK19.2 billion (€1.9 billion) in 2020.
