Yokohama Rubber names new Europe chairman

Tokyo – Yokohama Rubber Industries (YRC) has announced a series of senior management changes in Japan and Europe, which will see the current Yokohama Europe president, Hiroyuki Shioiri, serving as the chairman of the European entity.

Effective 10 Oct, Shioiri will also continue his role as chairman of Yokohama Scandinavia AB, Yokohama HPT, Yokohama Iberia and Yokohama France as well as the president of Yokohama Danmark, Yokohama Suisse, and Yokohama CEE Spó?ka.

Also, as of 1 Oct, Tomoaki Miyamoto serves as officer, head of Japan replacement tire sales & marketing division and member of the board of Yokohama Tire Japan.

In his previous role, he also headed the group’s Japan replacement tire business planning department.
