This is the second time Mitas is increasing prices, due to higher raw materials and logistics costs
Kranj, Slovenia – Mitas, part of the Trelleborg Group, is increasing prices across its line for motorcycle, scooter, go kart, trailer and aircraft tires, as well as for its complete range of tubes and mousses.
The increases from 5% to 10% will take effect starting 1 Oct, and specific details will be communicated to customers directly, said Mitas in a 29 Sept statement.
This is the second time Mitas is raising the prices of its tires this year.
The company said the hike was due to “significantly higher prices of raw materials and logistic services across the industry, with inflation affecting a number of industries after the reopening of markets post-pandemic shutdowns.”
