Move driven by increase in cost of raw materials, energy and logistics
Houston, Texas – US polymer supplier Kraton Corp. is introducing a general price hike $440/tonne (€375/tonne) for all all hydrogenated styrene block-copolymer (HSBC) products.
The price increase, a date for which was not announced, is driven by the recent raw material cost increases and increases in energy prices and logistics costs, said Kraton 2 Aug.
This is the third time Kraton is raising prices for HSBC products this year, following a $330/tonne increase in April and a $220/tonne hike in mid-January.
