Swedish manufacturer cites ‘escalating cost of logistics and raw materials’ for the price increase
Trelleborg, Sweden – Trelleborg Wheel Systems (TWS) is raising prices on all product segments due to increasing costs.
Effective September, prices will increase up to 5%, said TWS in a 3 Aug statement, citing “escalating logistics and raw materials costs in all markets.”
This is the third time Trelleborg is raising prices of its tire and rim products.
At the end of May, the Swedish manufacturer announced that it was increasing tire prices globally by up to 8%. Prices for rims were increased by up to 20% at the time.
Prior to that, TWS had implemented a 5% price hike globally in January.
