Trelleborg doubles UK warehousing operations for tires

Lydney, UK – Trelleborg Wheel Systems (TWS) has expanded its stock and warehousing operation in Lydney, Gloucestershire, in a bid to speed up its shipping process across the UK. 

Previously holding only Trelleborg’s range of material handling and earthmover tires, the site now houses the company’s entire range of agricultural tires, said TWS in a 12 July statement. 

The expansion allows Trelleborg to store twice as many products and offer “immediate delivery on a wider variety than ever before,” the company added.

“Here in the UK, we’ve maintained our focus on the customers by improving our services, allowing them to receive their orders faster,” said Richard Lyons, managing director UK and ROI at TWS. 

By shipping all products from one place, he said, the process is streamlined and tires reach customers “as quickly and easily as possible.”

In addition to warehousing, the Lydney site will continue its wheel manufacturing operations.
