DuPont adds to Conti supplier awards

Neu-Isenburg, Germany – DuPont Mobility & Materials has received a ‘supplier of the year’ award from Continental, its fourth such recognition in a row, DuPont announced 29 June.

Among other materials, Dupont supplies Hytrel thermoplastic polyester elastomers for constant velocity joint (CVJ) boots produced by Continental’s advanced dynamic solutions (ADS) division. 

The award reflects “our team’s commitment to working closely with Continental and to continuously innovating while providing technical and commercial [support],” said Rudy van Engen, DuPont sales director, EMEA.  

“Reliable partnerships are particularly important to us because they make a decisive contribution to the company's success,” said Hicran Hayik-Koller, global cluster purchase manager (resins and chemicals), at Continental’s ADS unit. 

“DuPont operates globally and provides us with quality materials and services that are innovative and sustainable,” Hayik-Koller added in the supplier’s press release.

DuPont was selected as one of five ‘suppliers-of-the-year’ from a field of over 170 nominees, based on criteria including: quality, technology, logistics, total-cost and general terms.
