Decision in response to increasing operational and raw materials cost
Fort Worth, Texas – Tokai Carbon Co. is increasing the prices of its carbon black products manufactured in North America to addressing increasing costs.
Effective 15 July, the manufacturer will increase prices $150/tonne, the company said in a statement.
Tokai said the decision was made in response to the rising operational and raw materials costs.
Furthermore, it will allow the company to invest in projects to maintain and improve its “mechanical reliability."
