Manufacturer says increase to cover rising costs in freight, logistics, and overall operations
Marietta, Georgia – Birla Carbon is increasing prices on all its products manufactured in the Americas, the company announced 3 June.
Effective 1 July, all shipments are subject to a price increase of $170/tonne (€140/tonne), according to the carbon black manufacturer.
The hike, said Birla, is to cover the increasing costs in freight, logistics, and overall operations, as well as investments required to meet environmental regulations.
