Huschke Diekmann was appointed to head the business in May last year
Kassel, Germany — German rail and bus component manufacturer Huebner Group has announced that Huschke Diekmann, previously CEO rail, division manager rail and managing director of Gersys GmbH, is leaving the group in May.
The departure, said Huebner in a 10 May statement, is part of a group-wide restructuring, but did not elaborate further.
Huebner managing director Helge Förster will temporarily take over Diekmann’s duties.
The Kassel-based group consolidated its rail-related activities into one business segment in May last year, coving the production of gangway systems for railway vehicles, chassis components for railway cars, entry systems for trams, and cockpit displays for railway vehicles.
Diekmann was appointed to head the 'global rail business', which also includes subsidiary companies HTG, Hemscheidt and Gersys.
He joined Huebner from Wabtec/GE Transportation, where he served as managing director for the past eight years.
