BKT says production unimpacted by India Covid wave

Mumbai, India – Indian off-road tire maker Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) has announced that a second wave of Covid pandemic across India has not interrupted its production processes. 

“BKT’s five production plants in India have been running smoothly with average 95% capacity,” said the tire manufacturer in a 12 May statement.

This, it said, is due to the timely implementation of safety measures across production facilities.

“BKT wants to reassure… [that its] teams in India and around the world, are safe and giving their best to keep the business at the normal levels,” the company added.
