Industry expert Herbert Ortner nominated to take over as the new chairman
Vienna – Semperit AG Holding’s chairman of the supervisory board Dr Walter Koppensteiner has stepped down, resigning from all his supervisory board duties with immediate effect.
He took over the position in January last year following the sudden resignation of Peter Edelmann. Koppensteiner had been a member of the supervisory board of Semperit AG since 2012.
Industry expert Herbert Ortner and a member of Semperit supervisory board since 2020 has been nominated to replace Koppensteiner, the Austrian polymer group announced 12 May.
Dr Stefan Fida remains deputy chairman of the supervisory board, said Semperit in a statement, without offering further details.
