Genan appoints new chief commercial officer

Viborg, Denmark – Danish tire recycler Genan has appointed Thomas Ballegaard as the new group chief commercial officer, effective 1 March.

Ballegaard is responsible for the overall European sales as well as for global marketing and product management, Genan said in a 26 Feb statement.

Prior to joining Genan, Ballegaard worked as CCO for wheel and tire manufacturer Starco between 2015 and 2019.

“Ballegaard has direct experience in the tire business – as well as with the responsibilities that come with the title as Chief Commercial Officer,” Genan added.

Genan operates five tire recycling plants globally, including one in Denmark, three in Germany and one in the US.
