Russian supplier says TPEs manufactured in a 'fully automated' process
Nizhnekasmk, Tatarstan – Russian rubber and petrochemicals manufacturer PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim (NKNH) has started selling thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) produced at its new divinyl styrene production unit for DSSK rubber production facility.
The styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer (SBS) is suitable for application in road surfaces, shoe-soles and roofing materials, NKNH announced 8 April.
NKNH said the TPEs are manufactures in a ‘fully automated’ process and are available in granules.
The TPEs, it said, offer “high mechanical strength” and can be processed multiple times “without harm to the environment.”
