Hutchinson appoints new leader
Helene Moreau-Leroy previously served at French aerospace supplier Safran
Paris – French components manufacturer Hutchinson SA has named Helene Moreau-Leroy as its chair and CEO, effective 1 April.
In a statement issued 6 April upon her appointment, Moreau-Leroy emphasised Hutchinson's commitment to "responsible & sustainable mobility," amid the "far-reaching changes in the automotive and aerospace markets."
According to her LinkedIn profile, Moreau-Leroy joined Hutchinson in November 2020 to serve as deputy CEO.
Moreau-Leroy previously worked for French aerospace supplier Safran for over 17 years, said the Hutchinson statement.
Most recently, she served as a member of Safran's executive committee and CEO of Safran Transmission Systems, which supplies power transmission systems for the aerospace and space industries.
In 2018, Moreau-Leroy oversaw the integration of Zodiac Aerospace following its acquisition by Safran.
She is also lead director of the board of directors of French materials supplier Arkema SA.
Moreau-Leroy holds an MBA in international business from the University of New England in Australia and is a knight of the French national order of the legion of honour.
