Il Taik Jung succeeds Jeon Dae-Jin, who has retained a role as executive advisor
Seoul – Kumho Tire has appointed company veteran Il Taik Jung as its new CEO and president, effective 22 March.
He succeeds Jeon Dae-Jin, who has now become the tire maker’s executive advisor, Kumho announced 29 March.
Jung has been with Kumho since 1988 and has previously held leadership positions as the VP research and development division, as well as the head of manufacturing technique.
“With his extensive background in research and development, he will continue to lead and grow Kumho Tire’s dedication to developing innovative and high-performance products,” said the Kumho statement.
