Price adjustment due to rising costs in raw material, transportation and logistics
Boston, Massachusetts – Cabot Corp. is raising prices for its fumed and colloidal silicas as well as aqueous dispersions products in the Americas and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) regions.
The price hike will apply to all Cab-O-Sil fumed and colloidal silicas and Cab-O-Sperse aqueous dispersions products, and will be up to 10%, depending on the product grade, Cabot announced 15 March.
The change will be effective for all shipments made on or after 15 April, or as customer contracts allow.
Cabot said the price increase was necessary due to rising costs in raw material, transportation and logistics, and operational costs.
