CV Show 2021 could signal an end to long run of event postponements and cancellations
London – Light has emerged at the end of the tunnel after a spate of recent postponements and cancellations of international industry events – DKT, The Tire Cologne and Tire Tech Expo among them.
Organisers of the 2021 Commercial Vehicles Show have announced 31 Aug – 2 Sept as the new dates for the UK event at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
The UK road transport expo had been postponed twice due to the Covid pandemic, having previously been rescheduled to take place on 8-10 June, from its traditional April date.
The latest decision follows the UK government’s recent announcement of a roadmap out of lockdown, according to a 1 March statement from organisers Commercial Vehicle Show LLP.
“With live business activity returning, we are delighted to be able to stage a Commercial Vehicle Show on these new dates and are focused on delivering a successful show for visitors, exhibitors and the industry,” said Murray Ellis, show director.
The CV Show “will once again provide the… opportunity to see new vehicles, products and technology alongside networking that the [expo] is renowned for,” added Ellis.
The event is owned and operated by the Commercial Vehicle Show LLP whose members are the Institute of Road Transport Engineers, the Road Haulage Association and the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
