Virtual elastomer conference will be held from 28 June to 1 July, says German rubber society the DKG
Frankfurt, Germany – Following the postponement of the DKT IRC trade show and conference, organisers have arranged a virtual symposium on the dates scheduled for the pulled event.
According the Deutsche Kautschuk-Gesellschaft, its online DKG Elastomer Symposium, 28 June to 1 July, will feature presentations of current developments and the latest results in elastomer research.
More information will be available on the websites www.dkt2021.de and www.dkg-rubber.de in March, added the German rubber society DKG's statement..
Explaining the postponement of DKT IRC to June 2022, DKG said “we consider the health, safety and successful participation of our guests as top priorities.
“Unfortunately, the pandemic situation is still severe and it is highly unlikely that DKT IRC can take place in Nuremberg in June 2021 as planned.”
The DKG statement was signed by its chairwoman Dr. Cristina Bergmann¸ and vice chairmen Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Limper and Dr. Hans-Martin Issel.
