Tire maker launches initiative for “on-the-spot customer grievance redressal”
Gurgaon, India – Apollo Tyres Ltd has inaugurated a specialised service centre for tires in Gurugram, in the northern part of the country,the company announced 14 Jan.
The facility “is the first such service centre for tires in India, which is independent of a sales outlet,” said Apollo, adding that it would eventually cater for all category of tires.
The Indian tire maker said it plans to open 10 such service centres across different locations in the country in the next 12-14 months.
Customers visiting the service centre will get “on-the-spot grievance redressal, instead of visiting multiple touchpoints and waiting for solutions,” explained Apollo.
While directly monitored by the company, the service centre is franchise-owned and -operated. Technicians there have been trained and certified by Apollo to provide all tire-related services using calibrated equipment.
The unit is equipped with facilities including computerised wheel alignment, automatic tire changer, wheel balancing machine, nitrogen gas inflator and specialised two-wheeler tire changer and balancer.
