Effective immediately, agreement builds on the two companies’ collaboration in the UK, France and Benelux
Paris – Safic-Alcan has extended its partnership with Dow for the distribution of its polyurethane range in Europe, the French distributor announced 2 Dec.
Effective immediately and building on the two companies’ collaboration in the UK, Franc and Benelux, the agreement will see Safi-Alcan covering the distribution of Dow’s PU product ranges, in “Nordics.”
The agreement includes engineering polyurethane trademarks such as Hyperlast, Duramould, Vorastar and Diprane.
The products can be used in a wide range of applications such as oil, water, gas transmission and storage as well as engineering resins as well as adhesives, sealants and binders.
“We are very pleased with the extension of our partnership with Dow Polyurethanes, just a year after reaching an agreement for EMEA for flocking adhesives,” said Philippe Combette, CEO of Safic-Alcan.
The deal, he noted, comes also after “a successful start” in the UK in 2019, as well as an existing collaboration in France and Benelux.
Commenting on the agreement, Francesca Pignagnoli, commercial director (southern and western Europe) Dow Polyurethanes, said the move demonstrated Safic-Alcan’s reliability and reach in the region.
