New tire-building system incorporates 70% of Mesnac’s machinery such as batching, cutting and curing equipment
Qingdao, Shandong – Chinese machinery supplier Mesnac has announced the launch of two new machines and the upgrade of a system at its production site in Qingdao, Shandong.
Unveiled on 22 Nov, one of the new machines, the FAR20 fully-automated batching control system, is capable of automatic installation, sealing and dispensing, and requires only one operator. The machine is suitable for formula weighing up to 35kg with up to 750 bags single shift output.
Mesnac’s has also launched the NTS3 three drum truck and bus tire-building machine, which it says has significantly boosted product stability compared to existing machinery. The equipment improves control of pneumatic pressure during the curing process, the accuracy of bead-to-bead width and the effectiveness of rubber material pressing, the machinery maker said.
The tire-building machine can finish installation within 10 days and complete commissioning within 5 days. With patented combination roller technology, a global first as claimed, it can ‘raise the service life of turn-up bladder from 3,000 times to over 15,000 times, reducing the average bladder cost for a single tire from 1 yuan to 0.1 yuan.’
Mesnac has also upgraded its building machine development system, now branded ROC2.0, that comprises standard modules streamlining the customisation process based on clients’ needs.
Compared with older iteration that covers only tire-building machines, ROC2.0 has been expanded to incorporate 70% of Mesnac’s machinery such as batching, cutting and curing machines, including the two new machines launched.
The firm has set up a lab for the system to test externally purchased components before finalising the design. The mixed reality system employs wearables to allow remote repair and also help train the maintenance staff.
