Smaller and more specialised RubberCon2020 to be held online
London – The international rubber event IRC2020 has been cancelled due to the complications caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, according to International Rubber Conference Organisaiton (IRCO).
In a recent update on its website, IRCO said the event, which was themed around sustainable technology, innovation and mobility, is now cancelled after having been postponed earlier in the year.
Organised by the Indian Rubber Institute, the show was originally set to be held 15-17 October in Chennai, India, but was later postponed to 15-17 April 2021.
In addition, RubberCon2020, which is a smaller and more specialised event, has also been moved to an online format.
Organised by the French rubber association (AFICEP), the conference was to be held 4-5 June in Paris with focus on environment and recycling.
The event will now be held on 11-12 Feb 2021 as a virtual conference, IRCO added.
