New structure ensures 'strong customer focus' and lean management
Freudenberg, Germany - HF Mixing Group has restructured its management structure with a focus “on customer satisfaction and lean operational models,” the German rubber machinery supplier has announced.
Effective 1 Oct, former sales chief Ian Wilson has joined Mark Meulbroek as co-CEO focussing on external strategic aspects, HF Mixing said in a statement 15 Oct.
In his new role Wilson will concentrate on the areas of sales, after-sales, R&D and engineering.
The group sales function will play a ‘central’ role, said HF Mixing, adding that Peter Scholz will replace Wilson as head of group sales.
To ensure “strong customer focus,” the German group said it has created four strategic business units (SBUs) with “clearly defined product lines, a lean management structure and a comprehensive global services organisation.”
The SBUs include: Batch Mixing, Systems Automation, Downstream and Continuous Mixing.
The new structure, HF Mixing said, enables more efficient interfacing between each of the SBUs to respond faster to changes in customer and market needs.
The new layout will also allow the group to provide advanced technology solutions for polymer compounding applications, HF Mixing said.
