New service supports increasing trends for bank debit method of payment
London – Bridgestone will use London-based fintech and recurring payments company GoCardless for its tire subscription service Mobox, launched earlier in the UK July.
Already available in France, Germany, Italy and Spain, Mobox is an all-inclusive monthly subscription service offering new tires alongside other vehicle-related services, at an affordable price per month.
GoCardless will offer Mobox customers in the UK a “frictionless payment experience,” said Bridgestone in a 30 Sept statement.
The service supports increasing trends for bank debit method of payment, while reducing chances of ‘involuntary churn’ due to failed credit or debit card payments, said Bridgestone
“The growing global popularity for the service economy provides us with a great opportunity to diversify our customer offering and bring added convenience,” said Andrea Manenti, VP north region, Bridgestone.
With GoCardless, he went on to say, customers have “full visibility of their payments each month - easy and transparent.”
