Trelleborg Group’s tires business area has also been an AGCO partner supplier since 2018
Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland – Agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturer AGCO International GmbH has awarded Trelleborg Sealing Solutions a partner level supplier status, it was announced 4 Aug.
Trelleborg supplies AGCO with special rotary seals for transmissions and tire pressure control systems, the Swedish manufacturer said in a statement.
The “highest level” status was awarded to Trelleborg for to its “continued commitment” to AGCO, according to Konstantin Meier-Kulenkampff, VP purchasing & materials, AGCO International GmbH.
“In critical times, such as 2018, when demand jumped and capacity was limited, or during the current coronavirus challenge, the difference that partners make to AGCO is clear,” he said.
Trelleborg Group’s tires business area – Trelleborg Wheel Systems (TWS) – has also been an AGCO partner supplier since 2018. When given the award, the machine manufacturer particularly praised the high level of innovation of Trelleborg's tire business area.
AGCO is a Swiss agricultural equipment manufacturer with brands such as Challenger, Fendt, GSI, Massey Ferguson and Valtra.
