Natural rubber price tracker: Decline continues
London – The decline in natural rubber prices continued over the past few weeks, as indicated by ERJ’s latest snapshot of Far East markets.
Pricing trends in the three weeks to 23 Aug seemed to reflect muted demand from tire makers.
Shanghai SHFE Ru1909: Yuan 10355/tonne (23 Aug) compared to Yuan10340/tonne (2 Aug)
Tokyo Tocom RSS3 back month: Yen165.8/kg compared to Yen168.5/kg
Tokyo Tocom TSR20 back month: Yen145.4/kg compared to Yen148/kg
Singapor SGX TSR20: $1.315/kg compared to $1.315/kg
Kuala Lumpur SMR20: 129.50/100kg compared to $131.50/100kg
Kuala Lumpur Latex: $107.12/100kg (19 Aug) compared to $108.89/100kg
