Yokohama’s Russian tire plant wins Nissan supplier award

Tokyo – Yokohama Rubber Co’s Russian subsidiary LLC Yokohama RPZ has been awarded Nissan's best supplier award for 2019, the company announced 24 July.

Yokohama RPZ was selected as the best supplier in the chassis category in recognition of the quality of its tires and supply system, the Japanese tire & rubber company reported.

The Yokohama Russian subsidiary is located in Lipetsk special economic zone, to the south of Moscow, and has been producing tires since 2011.

The company has been supplying tires for OE fitment on Nissan vehicles since 2015.
