Yiyang, China – ChemChina-owned Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery has recently developed a ‘smart’ twin-screw extruder, which is to begin commercial delivery in July.
Featuring “smart energy-saving and high automation”, the XJY-ZS 743/300 II delivers unmanned operation, automatic splicing and smart speed matching for film production, said a ChemChina release.
A rail-type mobile head-structure allows for easy and efficient maintenance, using “the back-and-forth movement of a roller through the hydraulic cylinder, without the use of crane,” the company added.
Other features include plug-board hydraulic locking, double-cutting knife technology, double universal coupling technical scheme and a permanent magnet motor drive system.
