Freudenberg, Germany – Andreas Limper stepped down from his position as co-chief executive officer of HF Mixing Group at the end of April, HF announced 15 May.
Over 28 years at HF Mixing, formerly known as ThyssenKrupp Elastomertechnik, Limper has played a key role in the development of mixing technology in the rubber industry.
Mark Meulbroek will continue in his position as the CEO of the company, a spokeswoman confirmed to ERJ.
HF Mixing, said the spokeswoman, is ‘generally run’ by the entire board of management which includes Meulbroek, Harald Keuter, Massimo Lavazza, Maik Rinker and Ian Wilson.
While he is “largely retiring”, Limper will continue to devote time to research, and serve HF as a consultant on development projects, the company said.
He will also continue his teaching and research activities at the IKV at the RWTH Aachen, where he provides “advice and support” to scientific working groups in the field of rubber.
Internationally, Limper also plans to collaborate with the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, on artificial intelligence.
The industry veteran will also take up the position of first deputy chairman and the German Rubber Association (DKG) “in the future.”
