Hamburg-Wandsbek, Germany – The LehVoss Group has relocated its laboratory and pilot plant facilities to a new site in Hamburg-Wandsbek, northern Germany.
The €4.5-million innovation centre includes state-of-the-art laboratory and office buildings to support testing and sales services, the company said in a release.
The pilot plant at the site will be used for the development of products for manufacture at the group’s global plants.
LehVoss operates major facilities in Wandsbek and Solingen, both in Germany; Kunshan, China; and Pawcatuck, US.
“We are aiming to ensure that we can retain and continue expanding our leading position in the field of plastics [and] raw materials for rubber,” said managing partner Thomas Oehmichen.
The Lehvoss Group, part of Lehmann&Voss & Co., produces materials and chemicals for various industries, including the rubber sector.
