Manchester, UK – UK additives supplier Castle Chemicals has appointed Bryan Davies as its new chairman to lead the company’s international growth and environmental initiatives.
Prior to joining Castle Chemicals, Davies served as commercial director at Thomas Swan and chairman of trustees at Catalyst Science Discovery Centre.
In 2015, the industry veteran was received the lifetime achievement award from the Chemical Industries Association (CIA), where he has served as an international trade adviser for the past decade.
"Castle Chemicals… [is] a major global supplier of chemicals to the rubber and allied industries and I am looking forward to… the next phase of their development," said Davies.
Founded in 1997, Castle Chemicals supplies high performance additives for sectors including automotive, adhesives, agriculture, home furnishings and surface coatings
In his new role, Davies said he would work to ‘set new standards in safeguarding the environment for future generations.’
