Paris-La Défense – Safic-Alcan has extended its distribution agreement with Dow to cover flocking adhesives range in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Effective 1 April, the French distributor will market the adhesives, including brands such as Polyflock, Mor-Flock, Polyprime and Catalyseur CA.
The brands, said Safic-Alcan 29 April, are a series of one- or two-component adhesives that bond well to various elastomers for weatherstrip production.
The products will be part of Safic-Alcan’s portfolio for “very technical weatherstrip”, which according to CEO Philippe Combette, is a ‘key rubber segment’ for the French distributor.
