Natural rubber price tracker: Positive trend continues
London - Natural rubber prices have continued on a generally upward trend over the past week, helped by a relatively strong showing on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) and on Singapore's Sicom exchange.
Trading was, generally, also strong on markets in the main NR exporting countries, figures compiled by the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries show. However, prices remained flat on the Tocom exchange in Tokyo.
SHFE Ru1909: Yuan11,740/tonne (17 April) compared to Yuan 11.585/tonne (29 March)
Tocom RSS3: Yen185.4/kg (16 April) compared to Yen185.8/kg (29 March)
Tocom TSR20: Yen176.0/kg (16 April) compared to Yen163.0/kg (29 March)
Kuala Lumpur Latex: $121.81/100kg (5 April*) compared to 119.99/kg (29 March*)
Kuala Lumpur SMR20: $147.63/kg (5 April*), up 13.9% from $145.60/100kg (29 March*).
Sicom TSR20 – $1.58/kg (16 April) compared to $1.55 (1 April)
