Darmstadt, Germany – Automotive vibration-control company Vibracoustic is expanding its production footprint in China with addition of a new production plant in Chongqing.
The company established Vibracoustic Chongqing Co. Ltd at the beginning of 2018 and is currently building the production site, Vibracoustic told ERJ in written statement.
Set to produce NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) solutions for existing and emerging automotive customers, the site is scheduled for commissioning in 2020.
Vibracoustic declined to give further details on the financial size of the investment.
The Chongqing plant will be Vibracoustic’s third production site in China.
