Darmstadt, Germany – Automotive technology companies Benteler International AG and Vibracoustic GmbH have developed noise- and vibration-optimised e-chassis systems under a new partnership.
The partnership involves Vibracoustic developing NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) components for integration into Benteler’s e-chassis.
Such parts include bushings, subframe mounts, top mounts, motor mounts and microcellular polyurethane components for Benteler’s front and rear axle systems, Vibracoustic announced 11 April.
In addition, Vibracoustic will contribute to the partnership with its expertise in air springs.
The “pre-validated” solutions, Vibracoustic added, help car manufacturers 'speed up development cycles and reduce time-to-market.'
Acting as a system integrator, Benteler can now provide customers with “modular and tailor-made e-mobility solutions,” said Marco Kollmeier, VP electro-mobility at Benteler Automotive.
