Hamburg, Germany – International polymers and chemicals distributor the NRC Group has rebranded as Nordmann, the company has announced.
The move is part of a “new and holistic, future-oriented strategy”, in response to changes in the global market, said a 19 March statement.
Under the new corporate strategy, all Nordmann associated companies will present themselves under the Nordmann banner.
Local operations will remain unchanged with each of Nordmann’s 26 companies keeping its independence and organisational structure.
The rebrand follows the acquisition of Melrob Group in 2017 which strengthened Nordmann’s business operations in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and North America.
“Expanding our international presence and repositioning ourselves under the unified Nordmann brand were the next two logical steps in our development..,” said Dr. Gerd Bergmann, managing director of Nordmann, Rassmann GmbH.
With 440 employees, Nordmann distributes natural and chemical raw materials, additives and speciality chemicals and achieved sales of €440 million in 2017.
