Munich, Germany – Pyrolyx AG has closed its headquarters in Munich as part of plans to relocate its operations to the US, the tire pyrolysis company announced 31 Jan.
The move aims to “better align” the company’s focus on the US market, where it is building its first large-scale recycled carbon black (rCB) plant in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The rCB producer will also “shortly” make an announcement about its research facility in Stegelitz, Germany - pending discussions with employees.
According to Pyrolyx, many of the global administrative functions of the company have already been transferred to its US-based personnel.
