Mitas 'ready to move the earth' with new mining tire
ERJ staff report (BC)
Munich – At the Bauma trade fair for construction equipment, Mitas has unveiled an addition to its family of ERL earth-moving tyres, the 20.5R25 ERL-50, which will go on worldwide sale by July.
ERL tyres are used on loaders, dozers and graders in mining operations. There are twelve tires in the ERL series, ranging from 28-90mm tread depth.
Petr Hala, the company’s industrial product manager, said: “Mitas is ready to move the earth. The ERL-50 tread pattern is particularly resistant to cut and wear. This radial tyre is designed for durability as Mitas [has enhanced] its tread pattern and incorporated steel cord in the body and breaker.”
Bauma is being held in Munich, Germany from 15-21 April.
