Austrian industrial elastomer group expects 80% year-on-year increase in earnings for first nine months
Vienna – Semperit AG Holding has raised its full-year earnings (EBITDA) forecast by 15% reflecting a strong performance over the first three quarters of the year.
In an ad hoc release 12 Oct, the Austrian industrial elastomers group said it now expects full-year earnings to come in at €115 million, up from an earlier estimate of €100 million.
The group, however, cautioned that visibility for the final weeks of the financial year “remains limited due to the continued short-term ordering behaviour of many customers.”
Semperit expects to report third quarter earnings of €27 million, up 26.7% compared the same quarter in 2025.
For the first nine months, the group expects earnings to rise 80% year-on-year to €94 million, up from €52 million reported the year before.
Semperit went on to add that the planned sale of “non-core assets and liabilities” would result in a one-time, non-cash impairment loss of an estimated €8 million in the third quarter of 2026, which will weigh on EBIT.
The group did not elaborate further on the planned asset sale.
