Kuala Lumpur – The 10th Annual Rubber Conference organised by the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) will focus on supply-chain efficiency, with the view to 'reengineer value chain for revitalising production sector.'
In a 1 Aug statement, ANRPC secretary general Nguyen Ngoc Bich said the government of Vietnam will host the conference in Ho Chi Minh City on 23 Oct.
The one-day event is expected to be attended by 300 rubber industry players, analysts and policy-makers from 15 countries.
The conference is structured into three talks and two panel discussions on “Markets run by farmers: experience across ANRPC member countries” and “Value addition in major rubber exporting countries: Miles to go”.
