New executive in place at Continental’s tire division

    Hanover, German – Continental AG has named Heinrich Exeler as the new head of Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH, following the retirement of industry veteran Burkhardt Köller 1 June.

    Exeler, who until now was head of controlling in the PLT [passenger, light vehicle tire] Original Equipment and R&D business unit will replace Köller as executive VP finance and controlling in the Tire Division at Continental and CEO of Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH.

    Köller has retired after 47 years with the company.

    Exeler has been part of the Tire Division management team for 24 years. Before taking up his current post, among other positions he was responsible for controlling in the PLT replacement business in the EMEA region.
