Ulvila, Finland – Cimcorp has applied to buy land beside its headquarters site in Ulvila with a view to a possible extension of its facilities, the company has announced.
The Finnish company has made an application to the City of Ulvila for the purchase of an additional land of 8,503 m2, said a 22 May press statement.
With the additional new floor area of 3,401 m2, Cimcorp will have a total floor area of 19,105 m2, though the company has yet to decide a schedule for the extension.
The move is in response to continuing growth at Cimcorp Oy, with sales up 35% in 2016 and doubled in the past four years. During this time, Cimcorp has also increased its workforce by around a third.
“We are considering extending our facilities, because the existing premises have become too small. At the moment we are also operating in several rented premises," said Marjo Rimpelä, vice president, finance & administration.
The manufacturer and integrator of turnkey robotic gantry-based order fulfillment and tire-handling solutions, operates in three other locations in Finland and has subsidiaries in Canada and the US.
