Bridgestone EMEA adds new executive roles to drive growth

Brussels – Bridgestone Europe has added two new executive roles in a bid to “drive profitable growth” in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, the Japanese tire-maker announced 7 March.
Laurent Dartoux has been appointed chief strategy and marketing officer (CSMO) and newcomer Riccardo Cichi as chief sales officer (CSO). The two new executive committee members will both report to CEO & president Paolo Ferrari.
The appointments came into effect 1 March.
In his new position, Dartoux will drive end-to-end new product and solutions development, strategic partnerships as well as brands marketing. Laurent will also be a board member of Speedy and the BRISA Bridgestone Sabanci JV in Turkey.
Riccardo Cichi, who has joined Bridgestone from Pirelli North America, will drive sales and financial performance through the management of the EMEA regions.
Cichi has led sales organisations in the US, Canada and Mexico previously.
