Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Turkish tire machinery maker Uzer Makina has entered into a partnership programme with Rockwell Automation for production optimisation.

According to Rockwell, the system allows manufacturers to modernise to a connected production infrastructure and to converge IT and control systems seamlessly.

Uzer Makina produces hydraulic and mechanical presses for tire curing, container mechanisms and tire moulds for tire manufacturers in Turkey and globally.

Speaking to ERJ, Uzer Makina's managing director Seyfullah Bozkurt said Rockwell was its "official OEM partner” in terms of tire curing press manufacturing.

This OEM partnership programme with Rockwell, said Bozkurt, gives us a chance to develop machinery control programme in PLC (programmable logic controller) together with Rockwell Development Group.
