Semperit restarts production following Malaysia fire

Kamunting, Malaysia – Semperit has restarted operation of all but one of the lines at its Latexx Partners production site of examination and protective gloves in Kamunting, following a fire on 23 Nov.
According to the company, the operation of several adjacent production sites was stopped and the sites were evacuated for safety reasons.
No casualties were reported.
The fire damaged the main storage facility for formers used for the glove production and the mechanical workshop, which are located next to one of the seven production buildings on the site, said Semperit.
