Lyon, France – French tire recovery company Aliapur is inviting tenders from road hauliers for the transport of around 300 kilotonnes a year of whole or shredded scrap tires.
The tender is linked to the renewal of Aliapur contracts with service providers for the collection and processing of end-of-life tires.
These services are scheduled to start in January 2017, for a contractual period of 24 months, said an Aliapur statement.
The -scope of the tire-transportation contract includes: Management of work schedules; localisation of vehicles; Light- and load-weighing of vehicles; transportation and delivery to recycling and processing plants; and follow-up and traceability.
Aliapur has set up an on-line system for companies to apply for the tender, with the submission deadline set at 5 Oct.
